All of us encounter challenges in our daily lives. While we are not aware of some because we have learned how to deal with them, others trouble us. You might have asked yourself why some people cope better with challenges than others? In this webinar, our speakers share their experiences about how they dealt with challenges during their careers. Resilience is the capacity to cope, learn, and even thrive in the face of adversity and it is a key trait often found among scientists who are used to the highs and lows of the research environment.
This webinar features a panel discussion with three early-career chemists who share their perspectives and advice on how to be resilient. Our panel members consist of:
Dr. Anna Regoutz – University College London, Lecturer in Materials Chemistry (@bluebananna)
Dr. César A. Urbina-Blanco – Ghent University, Postdoctoral Researcher (@cesapo)
Dr. Jesús Esteban Serrano – The University of Manchester, Lecturer in Chemical Engineering, (@jestebanchemeng)
